Re: Administration of Ham Baker Adams Limited
A&J Fabtech Water Division wishes to make clear that it is in no way related to Ham Baker Adams Limited or its subsidiary company A&J Water Treatment Ltd that entered into administration on 15 February 2017 with an estimated shortfall to unsecured creditors of £9.4million.
Managing Director of A&J Fabtech, Mark Wright is at pains to point out the differences between the companies;
“While we sympathise greatly with the 34 people who have been made redundant and the creditors that look set to lose significant amounts of money. We need to underline the fact that the Water division of A&J Fabtech Ltd is part of a highly successful and well-funded privately owned company. Our company delivers quality design and fabrication services to the water, power, rail and general industries and will continue to do so. In fact, we have just had one of our most successful years with the Water division, are recruiting, and looking forward to delivering even more projects in the near future.
As soon as the administration of Ham Baker Adams Ltd was announced we started receiving calls, particularly from the water industry to check that we are OK. The answer is absolutely, yes! Our water treatment division is not connected in any way, to Ham Baker Adams Ltd and we hope to prove helpful to those contractors and authorities that need to deliver new and refurbished water treatment plant during the current AMP period and beyond.”
The Water division of A&J Fabtech Ltd was officially formed in 1994 in order to manufacture and market our own designs of bridge scrapers, skimmers, thickeners and associated platforms, gantries and access structures to the UK water authorities. Much of this equipment is still in operation and the A & J Fabtech name has become synonymous with quality and reliability in the industry.
Note: For any questions regarding the administration process at Ham Baker Adams – Rajnesh Mittal and Russell Stewart Cash of FRP Advisory are appointed as the Administrators.
